Psalm 130
NIV Parallel NET [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New International VersionNET Bible
1A song of ascents. Out of the depths I cry to you, LORD;1A song of ascents. From the deep water I cry out to you, O LORD.
2Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.2O Lord, listen to me! Pay attention to my plea for mercy!
3If you, LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?3If you, O LORD, were to keep track of sins, O Lord, who could stand before you?
4But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.4But you are willing to forgive, so that you might be honored.
5I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.5I rely on the LORD, I rely on him with my whole being; I wait for his assuring word.
6I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.6I yearn for the Lord, more than watchmen do for the morning, yes, more than watchmen do for the morning.
7Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption.7O Israel, hope in the LORD, for the LORD exhibits loyal love, and is more than willing to deliver.
8He himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.8He will deliver Israel from all the consequences of their sins.
