Psalm 131
NIV Parallel NET [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New International VersionNET Bible
1A song of ascents. Of David. My heart is not proud, LORD, my eyes are not haughty; I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me.1A song of ascents, by David. O LORD, my heart is not proud, nor do I have a haughty look. I do not have great aspirations, or concern myself with things that are beyond me.
2But I have calmed and quieted myself, I am like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child I am content.2Indeed I am composed and quiet, like a young child carried by its mother; I am content like the young child I carry.
3Israel, put your hope in the LORD both now and forevermore.3O Israel, hope in the LORD now and forevermore!
