Psalm 131
NIV Parallel CSB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New International VersionChristian Standard Bible
1A song of ascents. Of David. My heart is not proud, LORD, my eyes are not haughty; I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me.1LORD, my heart is not proud; my eyes are not haughty. I do not get involved with things too great or too wondrous for me.
2But I have calmed and quieted myself, I am like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child I am content.2Instead, I have calmed and quieted my soul like a weaned child with its mother; my soul is like a weaned child.
3Israel, put your hope in the LORD both now and forevermore.3Israel, put your hope in the LORD, both now and forever.
