Psalm 131
NIV Parallel ISV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New International VersionInternational Standard Version
1A song of ascents. Of David. My heart is not proud, LORD, my eyes are not haughty; I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me.1LORD, my heart is not arrogant, nor do I look haughty. I do not aspire to great things, nor concern myself with things beyond my ability.
2But I have calmed and quieted myself, I am like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child I am content.2Instead, I have composed and quieted myself like a weaned child with its mother; I am like a weaned child.
3Israel, put your hope in the LORD both now and forevermore.3Place your hope in the LORD, Israel, both now and forever.
