Psalm 131
NIV Parallel KJV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New International VersionKing James Bible
1A song of ascents. Of David. My heart is not proud, LORD, my eyes are not haughty; I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me.1A Song of degrees of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.
2But I have calmed and quieted myself, I am like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child I am content.2Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.
3Israel, put your hope in the LORD both now and forevermore.3Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.
