Psalm 131
NIV Parallel NASB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New International VersionNew American Standard Bible 1995
1A song of ascents. Of David. My heart is not proud, LORD, my eyes are not haughty; I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me.1A Song of Ascents, of David. O LORD, my heart is not proud, nor my eyes haughty; Nor do I involve myself in great matters, Or in things too difficult for me.
2But I have calmed and quieted myself, I am like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child I am content.2Surely I have composed and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child rests against his mother, My soul is like a weaned child within me.
3Israel, put your hope in the LORD both now and forevermore.3O Israel, hope in the LORD From this time forth and forever.
