Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.1Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his faithful love endures forever.
Let Israel now say, “His mercy endures forever.”2Let Israel say, "His faithful love endures forever."
Let the house of Aaron now say, “His mercy endures forever.”3Let the house of Aaron say, "His faithful love endures forever."
Let those who fear the LORD now say, “His mercy endures forever.”4Let those who fear the LORD say, "His faithful love endures forever."
I called on the LORD in distress; The LORD answered me and set me in a broad place.5I called to the LORD in distress; the LORD answered me and put me in a spacious place.
The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?6The LORD is for me; I will not be afraid. What can a mere mortal do to me?
The LORD is for me among those who help me; Therefore I shall see my desire on those who hate me.7The LORD is my helper, Therefore, I will look in triumph on those who hate me.
It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in man.8It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in humanity.
It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in princes.9It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in nobles.
All nations surrounded me, But in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.10All the nations surrounded me; in the name of the LORD I destroyed them.
They surrounded me, Yes, they surrounded me; But in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.11They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me; in the name of the LORD I destroyed them.
They surrounded me like bees; They were quenched like a fire of thorns; For in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.12They surrounded me like bees; they were extinguished like a fire among thorns; in the name of the LORD I destroyed them.
You pushed me violently, that I might fall, But the LORD helped me.13They pushed me hard to make me fall, but the LORD helped me.
The LORD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation.14The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.
The voice of rejoicing and salvation Is in the tents of the righteous; The right hand of the LORD does valiantly.15There are shouts of joy and victory in the tents of the righteous: "The LORD's right hand performs valiantly!
The right hand of the LORD is exalted; The right hand of the LORD does valiantly.16The LORD's right hand is raised. The LORD's right hand performs valiantly!"
I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the LORD.17I will not die, but I will live and proclaim what the LORD has done.
The LORD has chastened me severely, But He has not given me over to death.18The LORD disciplined me severely but did not give me over to death.
Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will go through them, And I will praise the LORD.19Open the gates of righteousness for me; I will enter through them and give thanks to the LORD.
This is the gate of the LORD, Through which the righteous shall enter.20This is the LORD's gate; the righteous will enter through it.
I will praise You, For You have answered me, And have become my salvation.21I will give thanks to you because you have answered me and have become my salvation.
The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone.22The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.
This was the LORD’s doing; It is marvelous in our eyes.23This came from the LORD; it is wondrous in our sight.
This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.24This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Save now, I pray, O LORD; O LORD, I pray, send now prosperity.25LORD, save us! LORD, please grant us success!
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD! We have blessed you from the house of the LORD.26He who comes in the name of the LORD is blessed. From the house of the LORD we bless you.
God is the LORD, And He has given us light; Bind the sacrifice with cords to the horns of the altar.27The LORD is God and has given us light. Bind the festival sacrifice with cords to the horns of the altar.
You are my God, and I will praise You; You are my God, I will exalt You.28You are my God, and I will give you thanks. You are my God; I will exalt you.
Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.29Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his faithful love endures forever.
