New King James VersionInternational Standard Version
Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.1Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his gracious love is eternal.
Let Israel now say, “His mercy endures forever.”2Let Israel now say, "His gracious love is eternal."
Let the house of Aaron now say, “His mercy endures forever.”3Let the house of Aaron now say, "His gracious love is eternal."
Let those who fear the LORD now say, “His mercy endures forever.”4Let those who fear the LORD now say, "His gracious love is eternal."
I called on the LORD in distress; The LORD answered me and set me in a broad place.5I called on the LORD in my distress; the LORD answered me openly.
The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?6The LORD is with me. I will not be afraid. What can people do to me?
The LORD is for me among those who help me; Therefore I shall see my desire on those who hate me.7With the LORD beside me as my helper, I will triumph over those who hate me.
It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in man.8It is better to take shelter in the LORD than to trust in people.
It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in princes.9It is better to take shelter in the LORD than to trust in princes.
All nations surrounded me, But in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.10All the nations surrounded me; but in the name of the LORD I will defeat them.
They surrounded me, Yes, they surrounded me; But in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.11They surrounded me, they are around me; but in the name of the LORD I will defeat them.
They surrounded me like bees; They were quenched like a fire of thorns; For in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.12They surrounded me like bees; but they will be extinguished like burning thorns. In the name of the LORD I will defeat them.
You pushed me violently, that I might fall, But the LORD helped me.13Indeed, you oppressed me so much that I nearly fell, but the LORD helped me.
The LORD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation.14The LORD is my strength and protector, for he has become my deliverer.
The voice of rejoicing and salvation Is in the tents of the righteous; The right hand of the LORD does valiantly.15There's exultation for deliverance in the tents of the righteous: "The right hand of the LORD is victorious!
The right hand of the LORD is exalted; The right hand of the LORD does valiantly.16The right hand of the LORD is exalted! The right hand of the LORD is victorious!"
I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the LORD.17I will not die, but I will live to recount the deeds of the LORD.
The LORD has chastened me severely, But He has not given me over to death.18The LORD will discipline me severely, but he won't hand me over to die.
Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will go through them, And I will praise the LORD.19Open for me the righteous gates so I may enter through them to give thanks to the LORD.
This is the gate of the LORD, Through which the righteous shall enter.20This is the LORD's gate— The righteous will enter through it.
I will praise You, For You have answered me, And have become my salvation.21I will praise you because you have answered me and have become my deliverer.
The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone.22The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.
This was the LORD’s doing; It is marvelous in our eyes.23This is from the LORD— it is awesome in our sight.
This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.24This is the day that the LORD has made; let's rejoice and be glad in it.
Save now, I pray, O LORD; O LORD, I pray, send now prosperity.25Please LORD, deliver us! Please LORD, hurry and bring success now!
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD! We have blessed you from the house of the LORD.26Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the LORD! Let us bless you from the LORD's house.
God is the LORD, And He has given us light; Bind the sacrifice with cords to the horns of the altar.27The LORD is God—he will be our light! Bind the festival sacrifice with ropes to the horn at the altar.
You are my God, and I will praise You; You are my God, I will exalt You.28You are my God, and I will praise you; my God, and I will exalt you.
Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.29Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good and his gracious love is eternal.
