Galatians 6
NKJV Parallel NIV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT GRK]
New King James VersionNew International Version
Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.1Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.
Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.2Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.3If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves.
But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.4Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else,
For each one shall bear his own load.5for each one should carry their own load.
Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.6Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor.
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.7Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.8Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.9Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.10Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
See with what large letters I have written to you with my own hand!11See what large letters I use as I write to you with my own hand!
As many as desire to make a good showing in the flesh, these would compel you to be circumcised, only that they may not suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.12Those who want to impress people by means of the flesh are trying to compel you to be circumcised. The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ.
For not even those who are circumcised keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh.13Not even those who are circumcised keep the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your circumcision in the flesh.
But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.14May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new creation.15Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation.
And as many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.16Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule--to the Israel of God.
From now on let no one trouble me, for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.17From now on, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.
Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.18The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers and sisters. Amen.
