1Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.1Ἀδελφοί ἐὰν καὶ προλημφθῇ ἄνθρωπος ἔν τινι παραπτώματι ὑμεῖς οἱ πνευματικοὶ καταρτίζετε τὸν τοιοῦτον ἐν πνεύματι πραΰτητος σκοπῶν σεαυτόν μὴ καὶ σὺ πειρασθῇς
2Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.2Ἀλλήλων τὰ βάρη βαστάζετε καὶ οὕτως ἀναπληρώσετε τὸν νόμον τοῦ Χριστοῦ
3For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.3εἰ γὰρ δοκεῖ τις εἶναί τι μηδὲν ὤν φρεναπατᾷ ἑαυτόν
4But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.4Τὸ δὲ ἔργον ἑαυτοῦ δοκιμαζέτω ἕκαστος καὶ τότε εἰς ἑαυτὸν μόνον τὸ καύχημα ἕξει καὶ οὐκ εἰς τὸν ἕτερον
5For each one shall bear his own load.5ἕκαστος γὰρ τὸ ἴδιον φορτίον βαστάσει
6Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.6Κοινωνείτω δὲ ὁ κατηχούμενος τὸν λόγον τῷ κατηχοῦντι ἐν πᾶσιν ἀγαθοῖς
7Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.7Μὴ πλανᾶσθε Θεὸς οὐ μυκτηρίζεται ὃ γὰρ ἐὰν σπείρῃ ἄνθρωπος τοῦτο καὶ θερίσει
8For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.8ὅτι ὁ σπείρων εἰς τὴν σάρκα ἑαυτοῦ ἐκ τῆς σαρκὸς θερίσει φθοράν ὁ δὲ σπείρων εἰς τὸ Πνεῦμα ἐκ τοῦ Πνεύματος θερίσει ζωὴν αἰώνιον
9And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.9Τὸ δὲ καλὸν ποιοῦντες μὴ ἐνκακῶμεν καιρῷ γὰρ ἰδίῳ θερίσομεν μὴ ἐκλυόμενοι
10Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.10Ἄρα οὖν ὡς καιρὸν ἔχομεν* ἐργαζώμεθα τὸ ἀγαθὸν πρὸς πάντας μάλιστα δὲ πρὸς τοὺς οἰκείους τῆς πίστεως
11See with what large letters I have written to you with my own hand!11Ἴδετε πηλίκοις ὑμῖν γράμμασιν ἔγραψα τῇ ἐμῇ χειρί
12As many as desire to make a good showing in the flesh, these would compel you to be circumcised, only that they may not suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.12Ὅσοι θέλουσιν εὐπροσωπῆσαι ἐν σαρκί οὗτοι ἀναγκάζουσιν ὑμᾶς περιτέμνεσθαι μόνον ἵνα τῷ σταυρῷ τοῦ Χριστοῦ (Ἰησοῦ) μὴ διώκωνται
13For not even those who are circumcised keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh.13οὐδὲ γὰρ οἱ περιτεμνόμενοι αὐτοὶ νόμον φυλάσσουσιν ἀλλὰ θέλουσιν ὑμᾶς περιτέμνεσθαι ἵνα ἐν τῇ ὑμετέρᾳ σαρκὶ καυχήσωνται
14But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.14Ἐμοὶ δὲ μὴ γένοιτο καυχᾶσθαι εἰ μὴ ἐν τῷ σταυρῷ τοῦ Κυρίου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ δι’ οὗ ἐμοὶ κόσμος ἐσταύρωται κἀγὼ κόσμῳ
15For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new creation.15οὔτε γὰρ περιτομή τί ἐστιν οὔτε ἀκροβυστία ἀλλὰ καινὴ κτίσις
16And as many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.16Καὶ ὅσοι τῷ κανόνι τούτῳ στοιχήσουσιν εἰρήνη ἐπ’ αὐτοὺς καὶ ἔλεος καὶ ἐπὶ τὸν Ἰσραὴλ τοῦ Θεοῦ
17From now on let no one trouble me, for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.17Τοῦ λοιποῦ κόπους μοι μηδεὶς παρεχέτω ἐγὼ γὰρ τὰ στίγματα τοῦ Ἰησοῦ ἐν τῷ σώματί μου βαστάζω
18Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.18Ἡ χάρις τοῦ Κυρίου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ μετὰ τοῦ πνεύματος ὑμῶν ἀδελφοί Ἀμήν
