Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;2Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah3though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.
There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.4There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells.
God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.5God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.
The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted.6Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts.
The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah7The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.
Come, behold the works of the LORD, Who has made desolations in the earth.8Come and see what the LORD has done, the desolations he has brought on the earth.
He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariot in the fire.9He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire.
Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!10He says, "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."
The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah11The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.
