Psalm 101
NLT Parallel BSB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New Living TranslationBerean Study Bible
1I will sing of your love and justice, LORD. I will praise you with songs.1A Psalm of David. I will sing of Your loving devotion and justice; to You, O LORD, I will sing praises.
2I will be careful to live a blameless life— when will you come to help me? I will lead a life of integrity in my own home.2I will ponder the way that is blameless—when will You come to me? I will walk in my house with integrity of heart.
3I will refuse to look at anything vile and vulgar. I hate all who deal crookedly; I will have nothing to do with them.3I will set no worthless thing before my eyes. I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me.
4I will reject perverse ideas and stay away from every evil.4A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will know nothing of evil.
5I will not tolerate people who slander their neighbors. I will not endure conceit and pride.5Whoever slanders his neighbor in secret, I will put to silence; the one with haughty eyes and a proud heart, I will not endure.
6I will search for faithful people to be my companions. Only those who are above reproach will be allowed to serve me.6My eyes favor the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he who walks in the way of integrity shall minister to me.
7I will not allow deceivers to serve in my house, and liars will not stay in my presence.7No one who practices deceit shall dwell in my house; no one who tells lies shall stand in my presence.
8My daily task will be to ferret out the wicked and free the city of the LORD from their grip.8Every morning I will remove all the wicked of the land, that I may cut off every evildoer from the city of the LORD.
