Psalm 101
NLT Parallel NET [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New Living TranslationNET Bible
1I will sing of your love and justice, LORD. I will praise you with songs.1A psalm of David. I will sing about loyalty and justice! To you, O LORD, I will sing praises!
2I will be careful to live a blameless life— when will you come to help me? I will lead a life of integrity in my own home.2I will walk in the way of integrity. When will you come to me? I will conduct my business with integrity in the midst of my palace.
3I will refuse to look at anything vile and vulgar. I hate all who deal crookedly; I will have nothing to do with them.3I will not even consider doing what is dishonest. I hate doing evil; I will have no part of it.
4I will reject perverse ideas and stay away from every evil.4I will have nothing to do with a perverse person; I will not permit evil.
5I will not tolerate people who slander their neighbors. I will not endure conceit and pride.5I will destroy anyone who slanders his neighbor in secret. I will not tolerate anyone who has a cocky demeanor and an arrogant attitude.
6I will search for faithful people to be my companions. Only those who are above reproach will be allowed to serve me.6I will favor the honest people of the land, and allow them to live with me. Those who walk in the way of integrity will attend me.
7I will not allow deceivers to serve in my house, and liars will not stay in my presence.7Deceitful people will not live in my palace. Liars will not be welcome in my presence.
8My daily task will be to ferret out the wicked and free the city of the LORD from their grip.8Each morning I will destroy all the wicked people in the land, and remove all evildoers from the city of the LORD.
