Psalm 92
NLT Parallel BSB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New Living TranslationBerean Study Bible
It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to the Most High.1A Psalm. A song for the Sabbath day. It is good to praise the LORD, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High,
It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening,2to proclaim Your loving devotion in the morning and Your faithfulness at night
accompanied by a ten-stringed instrument, a harp, and the melody of a lyre.3with the ten-stringed harp and the melody of the lyre.
You thrill me, LORD, with all you have done for me! I sing for joy because of what you have done.4For You, O LORD, have made me glad by Your deeds; I sing for joy at the works of Your hands.
O LORD, what great works you do! And how deep are your thoughts.5How great are Your works, O LORD, how deep are Your thoughts!
Only a simpleton would not know, and only a fool would not understand this:6A senseless man does not know, and a fool does not understand,
Though the wicked sprout like weeds and evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever.7that though the wicked sprout like grass, and all evildoers flourish, they will be forever destroyed.
But you, O LORD, will be exalted forever.8But You, O LORD, are exalted forever!
Your enemies, LORD, will surely perish; all evildoers will be scattered.9For surely Your enemies, O LORD, surely Your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered.
But you have made me as strong as a wild ox. You have anointed me with the finest oil.10But You have exalted my horn like that of a wild ox; with fine oil I have been anointed.
My eyes have seen the downfall of my enemies; my ears have heard the defeat of my wicked opponents.11My eyes see the downfall of my enemies; my ears hear the wailing of my wicked foes.
But the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon.12The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, and grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
For they are transplanted to the LORD’s own house. They flourish in the courts of our God.13Planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God.
Even in old age they will still produce fruit; they will remain vital and green.14In old age they will still bear fruit; healthy and green they will remain,
They will declare, “The LORD is just! He is my rock! There is no evil in him!”15to proclaim, “The LORD is upright; He is my Rock, and in Him there is no unrighteousness.”
