| 2How long will you people ruin my reputation? How long will you make groundless accusations? How long will you continue your lies? Interlude | 2You men, how long will you try to turn my honor into shame? How long will you love what is worthless and search for what is deceptive? (Selah) |
| 3You can be sure of this: The LORD set apart the godly for himself. The LORD will answer when I call to him. | 3Realize that the LORD shows the godly special favor; the LORD responds when I cry out to him. |
