| 2So many are saying, “God will never rescue him!” Interlude | 2Many say about me, "God will not deliver him." (Selah) |
| 3But you, O LORD, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high. | 3But you, LORD, are a shield that protects me; you are my glory and the one who restores me. |
| 4I cried out to the LORD, and he answered me from his holy mountain. Interlude | 4To the LORD I cried out, and he answered me from his holy hill. (Selah) |
