NLT Parallel NIV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New Living TranslationNew International Version
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.1Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
Let all Israel repeat: “His faithful love endures forever.”2Let Israel say: "His love endures forever."
Let Aaron’s descendants, the priests, repeat: “His faithful love endures forever.”3Let the house of Aaron say: "His love endures forever."
Let all who fear the LORD repeat: “His faithful love endures forever.”4Let those who fear the LORD say: "His love endures forever."
In my distress I prayed to the LORD, and the LORD answered me and set me free.5When hard pressed, I cried to the LORD; he brought me into a spacious place.
The LORD is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?6The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?
Yes, the LORD is for me; he will help me. I will look in triumph at those who hate me.7The LORD is with me; he is my helper. I look in triumph on my enemies.
It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in people.8It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in humans.
It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.9It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.
Though hostile nations surrounded me, I destroyed them all with the authority of the LORD.10All the nations surrounded me, but in the name of the LORD I cut them down.
Yes, they surrounded and attacked me, but I destroyed them all with the authority of the LORD.11They surrounded me on every side, but in the name of the LORD I cut them down.
They swarmed around me like bees; they blazed against me like a crackling fire. But I destroyed them all with the authority of the LORD.12They swarmed around me like bees, but they were consumed as quickly as burning thorns; in the name of the LORD I cut them down.
My enemies did their best to kill me, but the LORD rescued me.13I was pushed back and about to fall, but the LORD helped me.
The LORD is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.14The LORD is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.
Songs of joy and victory are sung in the camp of the godly. The strong right arm of the LORD has done glorious things!15Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous: "The LORD's right hand has done mighty things!
The strong right arm of the LORD is raised in triumph. The strong right arm of the LORD has done glorious things!16The LORD's right hand is lifted high; the LORD's right hand has done mighty things!"
I will not die; instead, I will live to tell what the LORD has done.17I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the LORD has done.
The LORD has punished me severely, but he did not let me die.18The LORD has chastened me severely, but he has not given me over to death.
Open for me the gates where the righteous enter, and I will go in and thank the LORD.19Open for me the gates of the righteous; I will enter and give thanks to the LORD.
These gates lead to the presence of the LORD, and the godly enter there.20This is the gate of the LORD through which the righteous may enter.
I thank you for answering my prayer and giving me victory!21I will give you thanks, for you answered me; you have become my salvation.
The stone that the builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.22The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone;
This is the LORD’s doing, and it is wonderful to see.23the LORD has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes.
This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.24The LORD has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad.
Please, LORD, please save us. Please, LORD, please give us success.25LORD, save us! LORD, grant us success!
Bless the one who comes in the name of the LORD. We bless you from the house of the LORD.26Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD. From the house of the LORD we bless you.
The LORD is God, shining upon us. Take the sacrifice and bind it with cords on the altar.27The LORD is God, and he has made his light shine on us. With boughs in hand, join in the festal procession up to the horns of the altar.
You are my God, and I will praise you! You are my God, and I will exalt you!28You are my God, and I will praise you; you are my God, and I will exalt you.
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.29Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
