4 But Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. But He answered and said, “It is written: ‘MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE, BUT ON EVERY WORD THAT COMES OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD.’” Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
5 Then the devil took Him to the holy city and set Him on the pinnacle of the temple. For it is written: ‘He will command His angels concerning You, and they will lift You up in their hands, so that You will not strike Your foot against a stone.’ and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written, “‘He will command his angels concerning you,’ and “‘On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.’” And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in <i>their</i> hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. and he said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it is written: ‘HE WILL GIVE HIS ANGELS ORDERS CONCERNING YOU’; and ‘ON <i>THEIR</i> HANDS THEY WILL LIFT YOU UP, SO THAT YOU DO NOT STRIKE YOUR FOOT AGAINST A STONE.’” “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written: “’He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’”
7 Jesus replied, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’ Jesus said to him, “Again it is written, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’” Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. Jesus said to him, “On the other hand, it is written: ‘YOU SHALL NOT PUT THE LORD YOUR GOD TO THE TEST.’” Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’”

10 “Away from Me, Satan! Jesus declared. “For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.’ Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, Satan! For it is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.’” Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then Jesus said to him, “Go away, Satan! For it is written: ‘YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD, AND SERVE HIM ONLY.’” Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’”
11 Then the devil left Him, and angels came and ministered to Him. Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and were ministering to him. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him. Then the devil left Him; and behold, angels came and <i>began to</i> serve Him. Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.
12 When Jesus heard that John had been imprisoned, He withdrew to Galilee. Now when he heard that John had been arrested, he withdrew into Galilee. Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee; Now when Jesus heard that John had been taken into custody, He withdrew into Galilee; When Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, he withdrew to Galilee.

15 “Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, the Way of the Sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles— “The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles— The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, <i>by</i> the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles; “THE LAND OF ZEBULUN AND THE LAND OF NAPHTALI, BY THE WAY OF THE SEA, ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE JORDAN, GALILEE OF THE GENTILES— “Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, the Way of the Sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles—

17 From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near. 18 As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. 25 The large crowds that followed Him came from Galilee, the Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and beyond the Jordan. And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and <i>from</i> Decapolis, and <i>from</i> Jerusalem, and <i>from</i> Judaea, and <i>from</i> beyond Jordan. Large crowds followed Him from Galilee and <i>the</i> Decapolis, and Jerusalem, and Judea, and <i>from</i> beyond the Jordan.
