1 Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the Law of the LORD. Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the LORD! ALEPH. 2 Blessed are those who keep His testimonies and seek Him with all their heart. Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart, Blessed <i>are</i> they that keep his testimonies, <i>and that</i> seek him with the whole heart. Blessed are those who comply with His testimonies, <i>And</i> seek Him with all <i>their</i> heart. Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart—
3 They do no iniquity; they walk in His ways. who also do no wrong, but walk in his ways! They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways. They also do no injustice; They walk in His ways. they do no wrong but follow his ways.
4 You have ordained Your precepts, that we should keep them diligently. You have commanded your precepts to be kept diligently. Thou hast commanded <i>us</i> to keep thy precepts diligently. You have ordained Your precepts, That we are to keep <i>them</i> diligently. You have laid down precepts that are to be fully obeyed.
5 Oh, that my ways were committed to keeping Your statutes! Oh that my ways may be steadfast in keeping your statutes! O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes! Oh that my ways may be established To keep Your statutes! Oh, that my ways were steadfast in obeying your decrees!
6 Then I would not be ashamed when I consider all Your commandments. Then I shall not be put to shame, having my eyes fixed on all your commandments. Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments. Then I will not be ashamed When I look at all Your commandments. Then I would not be put to shame when I consider all your commands.
7 I will praise You with an upright heart when I learn Your righteous judgments. I will praise you with an upright heart, when I learn your righteous rules. I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments. I will give thanks to You with uprightness of heart, When I learn Your righteous judgments. I will praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws.
8 I will keep Your statutes; do not utterly forsake me. I will keep your statutes; do not utterly forsake me! I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly. I will keep Your statutes; Do not utterly abandon me! I will obey your decrees; do not utterly forsake me.
9 How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to Your word. How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word. BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed <i>thereto</i> according to thy word. How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping <i>it</i> according to Your word. How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word.
10 With all my heart I have sought You; do not let me stray from Your commandments. With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments! With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. With all my heart I have sought You; Do not let me wander from Your commandments. I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands.
11 I have hidden Your word in my heart that I might not sin against You. I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. I have treasured Your word in my heart, So that I may not sin against You. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.

13 With my lips I proclaim all the judgments of Your mouth. With my lips I declare all the rules of your mouth. With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth. With my lips I have told of All the ordinances of Your mouth. With my lips I recount all the laws that come from your mouth.
14 I rejoice in the way of Your testimonies as much as in all riches. In the way of your testimonies I delight as much as in all riches. I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as <i>much as</i> in all riches. I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, As much as in all riches. I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches.

19 I am a stranger on the earth; do not hide Your commandments from me. I am a sojourner on the earth; hide not your commandments from me! 20 My soul is consumed with longing for Your judgments at all times. My soul is consumed with longing for your rules at all times. 21 You rebuke the arrogant— the cursed who stray from Your commandments. You rebuke the insolent, accursed ones, who wander from your commandments. 22 Remove my scorn and contempt, for I have kept Your testimonies. Take away from me scorn and contempt, for I have kept your testimonies. Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies. Take disgrace and contempt away from me, For I comply with Your testimonies. Remove from me their scorn and contempt, for I keep your statutes.
23 Though rulers sit and slander me, Your servant meditates on Your statutes. Even though princes sit plotting against me, your servant will meditate on your statutes. Princes also did sit <i>and</i> speak against me: <i>but</i> thy servant did meditate in thy statutes. Even though rulers sit <i>and</i> speak against me, Your servant meditates on Your statutes. 26 I recounted my ways, and You answered me; teach me Your statutes. When I told of my ways, you answered me; teach me your statutes! 27 Make clear to me the way of Your precepts; then I will meditate on Your wonders. Make me understand the way of your precepts, and I will meditate on your wondrous works. Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works. Make me understand the way of Your precepts, And I will meditate on Your wonders. Cause me to understand the way of your precepts, that I may meditate on your wonderful deeds.
28 My soul melts with sorrow; strengthen me according to Your word. My soul melts away for sorrow; strengthen me according to your word! My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word. My soul weeps because of grief; Strengthen me according to Your word. My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word.
29 Remove me from the path of deceit and graciously grant me Your law. Put false ways far from me and graciously teach me your law! Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously. Remove the false way from me, And graciously grant me Your Law. Keep me from deceitful ways; be gracious to me and teach me your law.
30 I have chosen the way of truth; I have set Your ordinances before me. I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I set your rules before me. I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid <i>before me</i>. I have chosen the faithful way; I have placed Your judgments <i>before me.</i> I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I have set my heart on your laws.
31 I cling to Your testimonies, O LORD; let me not be put to shame. I cling to your testimonies, O LORD; let me not be put to shame! I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame. I cling to Your testimonies; LORD, do not put me to shame! I hold fast to your statutes, LORD; do not let me be put to shame.
32 I run in the path of Your commandments, for You will enlarge my heart. I will run in the way of your commandments when you enlarge my heart! I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart. I shall run the way of Your commandments, For You will enlarge my heart. I run in the path of your commands, for you have broadened my understanding.
33 Teach me, O LORD, the way of Your statutes, and I will keep them to the end. Teach me, O LORD, the way of your statutes; and I will keep it to the end. HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it <i>unto</i> the end. Teach me, the way of Your statutes, LORD, And I shall comply with it to the end. 34 Give me understanding that I may obey Your law, and follow it with all my heart. Give me understanding, that I may keep your law and observe it with my whole heart. 36 Turn my heart to Your testimonies and not to covetous gain. Incline my heart to your testimonies, and not to selfish gain! Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness. Incline my heart to Your testimonies, And not to <i>dishonest</i> gain. Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain.
37 Turn my eyes away from worthless things; revive me with Your word. Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things; and give me life in your ways. Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; <i>and</i> quicken thou me in thy way. Turn my eyes away from looking at what is worthless, And revive me in Your ways. Turn my eyes away from worthless things; preserve my life according to your word.
38 Establish Your word to Your servant, to produce reverence for You. Confirm to your servant your promise, that you may be feared. Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who <i>is devoted</i> to thy fear. Establish Your word to Your servant As that which produces reverence for You. Fulfill your promise to your servant, so that you may be feared.
39 Turn away the disgrace I dread, for Your judgments are good. Turn away the reproach that I dread, for your rules are good. Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments <i>are</i> good. Take away my disgrace which I dread, For Your judgments are good. Take away the disgrace I dread, for your laws are good.
40 How I long for Your precepts! Revive me in Your righteousness. Behold, I long for your precepts; in your righteousness give me life! Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness. Behold, I long for Your precepts; Revive me through Your righteousness. How I long for your precepts! In your righteousness preserve my life.
41 May Your loving devotion come to me, O LORD, Your salvation, according to Your promise. Let your steadfast love come to me, O LORD, your salvation according to your promise; VAU. Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, <i>even</i> thy salvation, according to thy word. May Your favor also come to me, LORD, Your salvation according to Your word; May your unfailing love come to me, LORD, your salvation, according to your promise;
42 Then I can answer him who taunts, for I trust in Your word. then shall I have an answer for him who taunts me, for I trust in your word. So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word. So that I will have an answer for one who taunts me, For I trust in Your word. then I can answer anyone who taunts me, for I trust in your word.
43 Never take Your word of truth from my mouth, for I hope in Your judgments. And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth, for my hope is in your rules. And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments. And do not take the word of truth utterly out of my mouth, For I wait for Your judgments. Never take your word of truth from my mouth, for I have put my hope in your laws.
44 I will always obey Your law, forever and ever. I will keep your law continually, forever and ever, So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever. So I will keep Your Law continually, Forever and ever. I will always obey your law, for ever and ever.
45 And I will walk in freedom, for I have sought Your precepts. and I shall walk in a wide place, for I have sought your precepts. And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts. 46 I will speak of Your testimonies before kings, and I will not be ashamed. 49 Remember Your word to Your servant, upon which You have given me hope. Remember your word to your servant, in which you have made me hope. ZAIN. 50 This is my comfort in affliction, that Your promise has given me life. This is my comfort in my affliction, that your promise gives me life. This <i>is</i> my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me. This is my comfort in my misery, That Your word has revived me. My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.
51 The arrogant utterly deride me, but I do not turn from Your law. The insolent utterly deride me, but I do not turn away from your law. The proud have had me greatly in derision: <i>yet</i> have I not declined from thy law. The arrogant utterly deride me, <i>Yet</i> I do not turn aside from Your Law. The arrogant mock me unmercifully, but I do not turn from your law.
52 I remember Your judgments of old, O LORD, and in them I find comfort. When I think of your rules from of old, I take comfort, O LORD. I remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD; and have comforted myself. I have remembered Your judgments from of old, LORD, And comfort myself. I remember, LORD, your ancient laws, and I find comfort in them.
53 Rage has taken hold of me because of the wicked who reject Your law. Hot indignation seizes me because of the wicked, who forsake your law. Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law. Burning indignation has seized me because of the wicked, Who abandon Your Law. Indignation grips me because of the wicked, who have forsaken your law.
54 Your statutes are songs to me in the house of my pilgrimage. Your statutes have been my songs in the house of my sojourning. Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage. Your statutes are my songs In the house of my pilgrimage. Your decrees are the theme of my song wherever I lodge.
55 In the night, O LORD, I remember Your name, that I may keep Your law. I remember your name in the night, O LORD, and keep your law. I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law. LORD, I remember Your name in the night, And keep Your Law. 61 Though the ropes of the wicked bind me, I do not forget Your law. Though the cords of the wicked ensnare me, I do not forget your law. The bands of the wicked have robbed me: <i>but</i> I have not forgotten thy law. The snares of the wicked have surrounded me, <i>But</i> I have not forgotten Your Law. Though the wicked bind me with ropes, I will not forget your law.
62 At midnight I rise to give You thanks for Your righteous judgments. At midnight I rise to praise you, because of your righteous rules. At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments. At midnight I will rise to give thanks to You Because of Your righteous judgments. At midnight I rise to give you thanks for your righteous laws.
63 I am a friend to all who fear You, and to those who keep Your precepts. I am a companion of all who fear you, of those who keep your precepts. I <i>am</i> a companion of all <i>them</i> that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts. I am a companion to all those who fear You, And to those who keep Your precepts. I am a friend to all who fear you, to all who follow your precepts.
64 The earth is filled with Your loving devotion, O LORD; teach me Your statutes. The earth, O LORD, is full of your steadfast love; teach me your statutes! The earth, O LORD, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes. The earth is full of Your goodness, LORD; Teach me Your statutes. The earth is filled with your love, LORD; teach me your decrees.
65 You are good to Your servant, O LORD, according to Your word. You have dealt well with your servant, O LORD, according to your word. TETH. Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according unto thy word. You have treated Your servant well, LORD, according to Your word. Do good to your servant according to your word, LORD.
66 Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I believe in Your commandments. Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I believe in your commandments. Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments. Teach me good discernment and knowledge, For I believe in Your commandments. Teach me knowledge and good judgment, for I trust your commands.

69 Though the arrogant have smeared me with lies, I keep Your precepts with all my heart. The insolent smear me with lies, but with my whole heart I keep your precepts; The proud have forged a lie against me: <i>but</i> I will keep thy precepts with <i>my</i> whole heart. 70 Their hearts are hard and callous, but I delight in Your law. their heart is unfeeling like fat, but I delight in your law. Their heart is as fat as grease; <i>but</i> I delight in thy law. 71 It was good for me to be afflicted, that I might learn Your statutes. May those who fear you rejoice when they see me, for I have put my hope in your word.
75 I know, O LORD, that Your judgments are righteous, and that in faithfulness You have afflicted me. I know, O LORD, that your rules are righteous, and that in faithfulness you have afflicted me. I know, O LORD, that thy judgments <i>are</i> right, and <i>that</i> thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me. I know, LORD, that Your judgments are righteous, And that You have afflicted me in faithfulness. I know, LORD, that your laws are righteous, and that in faithfulness you have afflicted me.
76 May Your loving devotion comfort me, I pray, according to Your promise to Your servant. Let your steadfast love comfort me according to your promise to your servant. Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant. May Your favor comfort me, According to Your word to Your servant. May your unfailing love be my comfort, according to your promise to your servant.
77 May Your compassion come to me, that I may live, for Your law is my delight. Let your mercy come to me, that I may live; for your law is my delight. 78 May the arrogant be put to shame for subverting me with a lie; I will meditate on Your precepts. Let the insolent be put to shame, because they have wronged me with falsehood; as for me, I will meditate on your precepts. Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: <i>but</i> I will meditate in thy precepts. May the arrogant be put to shame, because they lead me astray with a lie; <i>But</i> I shall meditate on Your precepts. May the arrogant be put to shame for wronging me without cause; but I will meditate on your precepts.
79 May those who fear You turn to me, those who know Your testimonies. Let those who fear you turn to me, that they may know your testimonies. Let those that fear thee turn unto me, and those that have known thy testimonies. May those who fear You turn to me, And those who know Your testimonies. May those who fear you turn to me, those who understand your statutes.
80 May my heart be blameless in Your statutes, that I may not be put to shame. May my heart be blameless in your statutes, that I may not be put to shame! Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed. May my heart be blameless in Your statutes, So that I will not be ashamed. 81 My soul faints for Your salvation; I wait for Your word. My soul longs for your salvation; I hope in your word. CAPH. My soul fainteth for thy salvation: <i>but</i> I hope in thy word.
