Good News Translation
The LORD said, "Return to the wilderness near Damascus, then enter the city and anoint Hazael as king of Syria;

Then the LORD said to him, “Go, return on your way to the wilderness of Damascus; when you arrive, you shall anoint Hazael as king over Aram.

The LORD said: Elijah, you can go back to the desert near Damascus. And when you get there, appoint Hazael to be king of Syria.
