Isaiah 57:16
Good News Translation
I gave my people life, and I will not continue to accuse them or be angry with them forever.

New Revised Standard Version
For I will not continually accuse, nor will I always be angry; for then the spirits would grow faint before me, even the souls that I have made.

Contemporary English Version
My people, I won't stay angry and keep on accusing you. After all, I am your Creator. I don't want you to give up in complete despair.

New American Bible
For I will not accuse forever, nor always be angry; For without me their spirit fails, the life breath that I have given.

Douay-Rheims Bible
