"Don't they know?" asks the LORD. "Are all these evildoers ignorant? They live by robbing my people, and they never pray to me."

Shall not all they know that work iniquity, who devour my people as they eat bread?
Psalm 94:8,9 Understand, ye senseless among the people: and, you fools, be wise at last. . . .
Isaiah 5:13 Therefore is my people led away captive, because they had not knowledge, and their nobles have perished with famine, and their multitude were dried up with thirst.
Isaiah 27:11 Its harvest shall be destroyed with drought, women shall come and teach it: for it is not a wise people, therefore he that made it, shall not have mercy on it: and he that formed it, shall not spare it.

Their mouth is full of cursing and bitterness; their feet are swift to shed blood. Destruction and unhappiness in their ways; and the way of peace they have not known: there is no fear of God before their eyes. 4Shall not all they know that work iniquity, who devour my people as they eat bread?5They have not called upon the Lord: there have they trembled for fear, where there was no fear.…
Whilst the wicked draw near against me, to eat my flesh. My enemies that trouble me, have themselves been weakened, and have fallen.
Pour out thy wrath upon the nations that have not known thee: and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon thy name.
They have not known nor understood: they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth shall be moved.
A generation that for teeth hath swords, and grindeth with their jaw teeth, to devour the needy from off the earth, and the poor from among men.
The Lord will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and its princes: for you have devoured the vineyard, and the spoil of the poor is in your house.
There is none that calleth upon thy name: that riseth up, and taketh hold of thee: thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast crushed us in the hand of our iniquity.
Pour out thy indignation upon the nations that have not known thee, and upon the provinces that have not called upon thy name: because they have eaten up Jacob, and devoured him, and consumed him, and have destroyed his glory.
And they have not known to do the right thing, saith the Lord, storing up iniquity, and robberies in their houses.
And the hinges of the temple shall screak in that day, saith the Lord God: many shall die: silence shall be cast in every place.
You that hate good, and love evil: that violently pluck off their skins from them and their flesh from their bones?
