"Son of man, " He said to me: "I am sending you to the Israelites, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against Me. To this very day the Israelites and their fathers have transgressed against Me. . . .
Ezekiel 3:1, 4, 10, 17
"Son of man, " He said to me, "eat what you find here. Eat this scroll, then go and speak to the house of Israel." . . .
Now you, son of man, take a brick, place it before you, and draw on it the city of Jerusalem.
Now you, son of man, take a sharp sword, use it as a barber's razor, and shave your head and beard. Then take a set of scales and divide the hair.

"Son of man, these men have set up idols in their hearts and put wicked stumbling blocks before their faces. Should I consult with them in any way? . . .
"Son of man, how does the wood of the vine surpass any other branch among the trees in the forest?

what is man that You are mindful of him, or the son of man that You care for him?

John 3:13, 16
No one has ascended into heaven except the One who descended from heaven--the Son of Man. . . .
The appearance of the brilliant light all around Him was like that of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell facedown and heard a voice speaking.
Daniel 10:11, 19
He said to me, "Daniel, you are a man who is highly precious. Consider carefully the words that I am about to say to you. Stand up, for I have now been sent to you." And when he had said this to me, I stood up trembling. . . .
Then Jesus came over and touched them. "Get up, " He said. "Do not be afraid."
"Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do."
But get up and stand on your feet. For I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen from Me and what I will show you.
