2 Kings 25:4
Then the city was breached; and though the Chaldeans had surrounded the city, all the men of war fled by night by way of the gate between the two walls near the king's garden. They fled toward the Arabah,

Jeremiah 21:10
For I have set My face against this city to bring disaster and not good, declares the LORD. It will be handed over to the king of Babylon, who will destroy it with fire.'

Jeremiah 24:8

Jeremiah 32:4
Zedekiah king of Judah will not escape from the hands of the Chaldeans, but he will surely be handed over to the king of Babylon to speak with him face to face and to see him eye to eye.

Jeremiah 34:3
As for you, you will not escape his grasp but will surely be captured and handed over to him. You will see the king of Babylon eye to eye and speak to him face to face; and you will go to Babylon.

Jeremiah 37:8
Then the Chaldeans will return and fight against this city. They will capture it and burn it down.'

Jeremiah 39:5
But the army of the Chaldeans pursued them and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho. They seized him and brought him up to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon at Riblah in the land of Hamath, where he pronounced judgment on him.

The Chaldeans set fire to the palace of the king and to the houses of the people, and they tore down the walls of Jerusalem.

Ezekiel 17:15
But this king rebelled against Babylon by sending his envoys to Egypt to ask for horses and a large army. Will he flourish? Will the one who does such things escape? Can he break a covenant and yet escape?'
