“If one’s offering is a peace offering and he offers an animal from the herd, whether male or female, he must present it without blemish before the LORD.1"'Now if his offering is a peace offering sacrifice, if he presents an offering from the herd, he must present before the LORD a flawless male or a female.
He is to lay his hand on the head of the offering and slaughter it at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. Then Aaron’s sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood on all sides of the altar.2He must lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it at the entrance of the Meeting Tent, and the sons of Aaron, the priests, must splash the blood against the altar's sides.
From the peace offering he is to bring an offering made by fire to the LORD: the fat that covers the entrails, all the fat that is on them,3Then the one presenting the offering must present a gift to the LORD from the peace offering sacrifice: He must remove the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that surrounds the entrails,
both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he is to remove with the kidneys.4the two kidneys with the fat on their sinews, and the protruding lobe on the liver (which he is to remove along with the kidneys).
Then Aaron’s sons are to burn it on the altar atop the burnt offering that is on the burning wood, as an offering made by fire, a pleasing aroma to the LORD.5Then the sons of Aaron must offer it up in smoke on the altar atop the burnt offering that is on the wood in the fire as a gift of a soothing aroma to the LORD.
If, however, one’s peace offering to the LORD is from the flock, he must present a male or female without blemish.6"'If his offering for a peace offering sacrifice to the LORD is from the flock, he must present a flawless male or female.
If he is presenting a lamb for his offering, he must present it before the LORD.7If he presents a sheep as his offering, he must present it before the LORD.
He is to lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it in front of the Tent of Meeting. Then Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle its blood on all sides of the altar.8He must lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it before the Meeting Tent, and the sons of Aaron must splash its blood against the altar's sides.
And from the peace offering he shall bring an offering made by fire to the LORD consisting of its fat: the entire fat tail cut off close to the backbone, the fat that covers the entrails, all the fat that is on them,9Then he must present a gift to the LORD from the peace offering sacrifice: He must remove all the fatty tail up to the end of the spine, the fat covering the entrails, and all the fat on the entrails,
both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he is to remove with the kidneys.10the two kidneys with the fat on their sinews, and the protruding lobe on the liver (which he is to remove along with the kidneys).
Then the priest is to burn them on the altar as food, an offering made by fire to the LORD.11Then the priest must offer it up in smoke on the altar as a food gift to the LORD.
If one’s offering is a goat, he is to present it before the LORD.12"'If his offering is a goat he must present it before the LORD,
He must lay his hand on its head and slaughter it in front of the Tent of Meeting. Then Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle its blood on all sides of the altar.13lay his hand on its head, and slaughter it before the Meeting Tent, and the sons of Aaron must splash its blood against the altar's sides.
And from his offering he shall present an offering made by fire to the LORD: the fat that covers the entrails, all the fat that is on them,14Then he must present from it his offering as a gift to the LORD: the fat which covers the entrails and all the fat on the entrails,
both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he is to remove with the kidneys.15the two kidneys with the fat on their sinews, and the protruding lobe on the liver (which he is to remove along with the kidneys).
Then the priest is to burn the food on the altar as an offering made by fire, a pleasing aroma. All the fat is the LORD’s.16Then the priest must offer them up in smoke on the altar as a food gift for a soothing aroma--all the fat belongs to the LORD.
This is a permanent statute for the generations to come, wherever you live: You must not eat any fat or any blood.”17This is a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all the places where you live: You must never eat any fat or any blood.'"
