Psalm 62
BSB Parallel NIV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Berean Study BibleNew International Version
For the choirmaster. According to Jeduthun. A Psalm of David. In God alone my soul finds rest; my salvation comes from Him.1For the director of music. For Jeduthun. A psalm of David. Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him.
He alone is my rock and my salvation. He is my fortress; I will never be shaken.2Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
How long will you threaten a man? Will all of you throw him down like a leaning wall or a tottering fence?3How long will you assault me? Would all of you throw me down-- this leaning wall, this tottering fence?
They fully intend to cast him down from his lofty perch; they delight in lies; with their mouths they bless, but inwardly they curse. Selah4Surely they intend to topple me from my lofty place; they take delight in lies. With their mouths they bless, but in their hearts they curse.
Rest in God alone, O my soul, for my hope comes from Him.5Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him.
He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress; I will not be shaken.6Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
My salvation and my honor rest on God, my strong rock; my refuge is in God.7My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge.
Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is our refuge. Selah8Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.
Lowborn men are but a vapor, the exalted but a lie. Weighed on the scale, they go up; together they are but a vapor.9Surely the lowborn are but a breath, the highborn are but a lie. If weighed on a balance, they are nothing; together they are only a breath.
Place no trust in extortion, or false hope in stolen goods. If your riches increase, do not set your heart upon them.10Do not trust in extortion or put vain hope in stolen goods; though your riches increase, do not set your heart on them.
God has spoken once; I have heard this twice: that power belongs to God,11One thing God has spoken, two things I have heard: "Power belongs to you, God,
and loving devotion to You, O Lord. For You will repay each man according to his deeds.12and with you, Lord, is unfailing love"; and, "You reward everyone according to what they have done."
