BSB Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Berean Study BibleNew Living Translation
A Psalm of Asaph. God presides in the divine assembly; He renders judgment among the gods:1God presides over heaven’s court; he pronounces judgment on the heavenly beings:
“How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Selah2“How long will you hand down unjust decisions by favoring the wicked? Interlude
Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; uphold the rights of the afflicted and oppressed.3“Give justice to the poor and the orphan; uphold the rights of the oppressed and the destitute.
Rescue the weak and needy; save them from the hand of the wicked.4Rescue the poor and helpless; deliver them from the grasp of evil people.
They do not know or understand; they wander in the darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.5But these oppressors know nothing; they are so ignorant! They wander about in darkness, while the whole world is shaken to the core.
I have said, ‘You are gods; you are all sons of the Most High.’6I say, ‘You are gods; you are all children of the Most High.
But like mortals you will die, and like rulers you will fall.”7But you will die like mere mortals and fall like every other ruler.’”
Arise, O God, judge the earth, for all the nations are Your inheritance.8Rise up, O God, and judge the earth, for all the nations belong to you.
