Psalm 25
ESV Parallel CSB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
English Standard VersionChristian Standard Bible
To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul.1LORD, I appeal to you.
O my God, in you I trust; let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me.2My God, I trust in you. Do not let me be disgraced; do not let my enemies gloat over me.
Indeed, none who wait for you shall be put to shame; they shall be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous.3No one who waits for you will be disgraced; those who act treacherously without cause will be disgraced.
Make me to know your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths.4Make your ways known to me, LORD; teach me your paths.
Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.5Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; I wait for you all day long.
Remember your mercy, O LORD, and your steadfast love, for they have been from of old.6Remember, LORD, your compassion and your faithful love, for they have existed from antiquity.
Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for the sake of your goodness, O LORD!7Do not remember the sins of my youth or my acts of rebellion; in keeping with your faithful love, remember me because of your goodness, LORD.
Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in the way.8The LORD is good and upright; therefore he shows sinners the way.
He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way.9He leads the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.
All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.10All the LORD's ways show faithful love and truth to those who keep his covenant and decrees.
For your name’s sake, O LORD, pardon my guilt, for it is great.11LORD, for the sake of your name, forgive my iniquity, for it is immense.
Who is the man who fears the LORD? Him will he instruct in the way that he should choose.12Who is this person who fears the LORD? He will show him the way he should choose.
His soul shall abide in well-being, and his offspring shall inherit the land.13He will live a good life, and his descendants will inherit the land.
The friendship of the LORD is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant.14The secret counsel of the LORD is for those who fear him, and he reveals his covenant to them.
My eyes are ever toward the LORD, for he will pluck my feet out of the net.15My eyes are always on the LORD, for he will pull my feet out of the net.
Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted.16Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am alone and afflicted.
The troubles of my heart are enlarged; bring me out of my distresses.17The distresses of my heart increase; bring me out of my sufferings.
Consider my affliction and my trouble, and forgive all my sins.18Consider my affliction and trouble, and forgive all my sins.
Consider how many are my foes, and with what violent hatred they hate me.19Consider my enemies; they are numerous, and they hate me violently.
Oh, guard my soul, and deliver me! Let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.20Guard me and rescue me; do not let me be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.
May integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you.21May integrity and what is right watch over me, for I wait for you.
Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.22God, redeem Israel, from all its distresses.
