1I love the LORD because He has heard my appeal for mercy. 1אָ֭הַבְתִּי כִּֽי־ יִשְׁמַ֥ע ׀ יְהוָ֑ה אֶת־ ק֝וֹלִ֗י תַּחֲנוּנָֽי׃
2Because He has turned His ear to me, I will call out to Him as long as I live. 2כִּֽי־ הִטָּ֣ה אָזְנ֣וֹ לִ֑י וּבְיָמַ֥י אֶקְרָֽא׃
3The ropes of death were wrapped around me, and the torments of Sheol overcame me; I encountered trouble and sorrow. 3אֲפָפ֤וּנִי ׀ חֶבְלֵי־ מָ֗וֶת וּמְצָרֵ֣י שְׁא֣וֹל מְצָא֑וּנִי צָרָ֖ה וְיָג֣וֹן אֶמְצָֽא׃
4Then I called on the name of Yahweh:" Yahweh, save me!" 4וּבְשֵֽׁם־ יְהוָ֥ה אֶקְרָ֑א אָנָּ֥ה יְ֝הוָ֗ה מַלְּטָ֥ה נַפְשִֽׁי׃
5The LORD is gracious and righteous; our God is compassionate. 5חַנּ֣וּן יְהֹוָ֣ה וְצַדִּ֑יק וֵ֖אלֹהֵ֣ינוּ מְרַחֵֽם׃
6The LORD guards the inexperienced; I was helpless, and He saved me. 6שֹׁמֵ֣ר פְּתָאיִ֣ם יְהֹוָ֑ה דַּ֝לּוֹתִ֗י וְלִ֣י יְהוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃
7Return to your rest, my soul, for the LORD has been good to you. 7שׁוּבִ֣י נַ֭פְשִׁי לִמְנוּחָ֑יְכִי כִּֽי־ יְ֝הוָ֗ה גָּמַ֥ל עָלָֽיְכִי׃
8For You, LORD, rescued me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling. 8כִּ֤י חִלַּ֥צְתָּ נַפְשִׁ֗י מִ֫מָּ֥וֶת אֶת־ עֵינִ֥י מִן־ דִּמְעָ֑ה אֶת־ רַגְלִ֥י מִדֶּֽחִי׃
9I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living. 9אֶ֭תְהַלֵּךְ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה בְּ֝אַרְצ֗וֹת הַֽחַיִּֽים׃
10I believed, even when I said," I am severely afflicted." 10הֶ֭אֱמַנְתִּי כִּ֣י אֲדַבֵּ֑ר אֲ֝נִ֗י עָנִ֥יתִי מְאֹֽד׃
11In my alarm I said," Everyone is a liar." 11אֲ֭נִי אָמַ֣רְתִּי בְחָפְזִ֑י כָּֽל־ הָאָדָ֥ם כֹּזֵֽב׃
12How can I repay the LORD for all the good He has done for me? 12מָֽה־ אָשִׁ֥יב לַיהוָ֑ה כָּֽל־ תַּגְמוּל֥וֹהִי עָלָֽי׃
13I will take the cup of salvation and call on the name of Yahweh. 13כּוֹס־ יְשׁוּע֥וֹת אֶשָּׂ֑א וּבְשֵׁ֖ם יְהוָ֣ה אֶקְרָֽא׃
14I will fulfill my vows to the LORD in the presence of all His people. 14נְ֭דָרַי לַיהוָ֣ה אֲשַׁלֵּ֑ם נֶגְדָה־ נָּ֝֗א לְכָל־ עַמּֽוֹ׃
15The death of His faithful ones is valuable in the LORD's sight. 15יָ֭קָר בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה הַ֝מָּ֗וְתָה לַחֲסִידָֽיו׃
16 LORD, I am indeed Your servant; I am Your servant, the son of Your female servant. You have loosened my bonds. 16אָֽנָּ֣ה יְהוָה֮ כִּֽי־ אֲנִ֪י עַ֫בְדֶּ֥ךָ אֲ‍ֽנִי־ עַ֭בְדְּךָ בֶּן־ אֲמָתֶ֑ךָ פִּ֝תַּ֗חְתָּ לְמוֹסֵרָֽי׃
17I will offer You a sacrifice of thanksgiving and call on the name of Yahweh. 17לְֽךָ־ אֶ֭זְבַּח זֶ֣בַח תּוֹדָ֑ה וּבְשֵׁ֖ם יְהוָ֣ה אֶקְרָֽא׃
18I will fulfill my vows to the LORD in the presence of all His people, 18נְ֭דָרַי לַיהוָ֣ה אֲשַׁלֵּ֑ם נֶגְדָה־ נָּ֝֗א לְכָל־ עַמּֽוֹ׃
19in the courts of the LORD's house-- within you, Jerusalem. Hallelujah! 19בְּחַצְר֤וֹת ׀ בֵּ֤ית יְהוָ֗ה בְּֽת֘וֹכֵ֤כִי יְֽרוּשָׁלִָ֗ם הַֽלְלוּ־ יָֽהּ׃
