| 2before Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh. Rally Your power and come to save us. | 2In the sight of Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh reveal your power! Come and deliver us! |
| 3Restore us, God; look on us with favor, and we will be saved. | 3O God, restore us! Smile on us! Then we will be delivered! |
| 4 LORD God of Hosts, how long will You be angry with Your people's prayers? | 4O LORD God, invincible warrior! How long will you remain angry at your people while they pray to you? |
| 5You fed them the bread of tears and gave them a full measure of tears to drink. | 5You have given them tears as food; you have made them drink tears by the measure. |
