Psalm 131
ISV Parallel ESV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
International Standard VersionEnglish Standard Version
1LORD, my heart is not arrogant, nor do I look haughty. I do not aspire to great things, nor concern myself with things beyond my ability.1O LORD, my heart is not lifted up; my eyes are not raised too high; I do not occupy myself with things too great and too marvelous for me.
2Instead, I have composed and quieted myself like a weaned child with its mother; I am like a weaned child.2But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me.
3Place your hope in the LORD, Israel, both now and forever.3O Israel, hope in the LORD from this time forth and forevermore.
