Psalm 131
ISV Parallel NET [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
International Standard VersionNET Bible
1LORD, my heart is not arrogant, nor do I look haughty. I do not aspire to great things, nor concern myself with things beyond my ability.1A song of ascents, by David. O LORD, my heart is not proud, nor do I have a haughty look. I do not have great aspirations, or concern myself with things that are beyond me.
2Instead, I have composed and quieted myself like a weaned child with its mother; I am like a weaned child.2Indeed I am composed and quiet, like a young child carried by its mother; I am content like the young child I carry.
3Place your hope in the LORD, Israel, both now and forever.3O Israel, hope in the LORD now and forevermore!
