International Standard VersionHolman Christian Standard Bible
1LORD, my heart is not arrogant, nor do I look haughty. I do not aspire to great things, nor concern myself with things beyond my ability.1A Davidic song of ascents. LORD, my heart is not proud; my eyes are not haughty. I do not get involved with things too great or too difficult for me.
2Instead, I have composed and quieted myself like a weaned child with its mother; I am like a weaned child.2Instead, I have calmed and quieted myself like a little weaned child with its mother; I am like a little child.
3Place your hope in the LORD, Israel, both now and forever.3Israel, put your hope in the LORD, both now and forever.
