Psalm 122
ISV Parallel NASB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
International Standard VersionNew American Standard Bible 1995
1I rejoiced when they kept on asking me, "Let us go to the LORD's Temple."1A Song of Ascents, of David. I was glad when they said to me, "Let us go to the house of the LORD."
2Our feet are standing inside your gates, Jerusalem.2Our feet are standing Within your gates, O Jerusalem,
3Jerusalem stands built up, a city knitted together.3Jerusalem, that is built As a city that is compact together;
4To it the tribes ascend— the tribes of the LORD— as decreed to Israel, to give thanks to the name of the LORD.4To which the tribes go up, even the tribes of the LORD-- An ordinance for Israel-- To give thanks to the name of the LORD.
5For thrones are established there for judgment, thrones of the house of David.5For there thrones were set for judgment, The thrones of the house of David.
6Pray for peace for Jerusalem: "May those who love you be at peace! 6Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: "May they prosper who love you.
7May peace be within your ramparts, and prosperity within your fortresses."7"May peace be within your walls, And prosperity within your palaces."
8For the sake of my relatives and friends I will now say, "May there be peace within you."8For the sake of my brothers and my friends, I will now say, "May peace be within you."
9For the sake of the Temple of the LORD our God, I will seek your welfare.9For the sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your good.
