Psalm 125
KJV Parallel CSB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
King James BibleChristian Standard Bible
1A Song of degrees. They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.1Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion. It cannot be shaken; it remains forever.
2As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.2The mountains surround Jerusalem and the LORD surrounds his people, both now and forever.
3For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.3The scepter of the wicked will not remain over the land allotted to the righteous, so that the righteous will not apply their hands to injustice.
4Do good, O LORD, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.4Do what is good, LORD, to the good, to those whose hearts are upright.
5As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.5But as for those who turn aside to crooked ways, the LORD will banish them with the evildoers. Peace be with Israel.
