Psalm 125
KJV Parallel NASB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
King James BibleNew American Standard Bible 1995
1A Song of degrees. They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.1A Song of Ascents. Those who trust in the LORD Are as Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but abides forever.
2As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.2As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the LORD surrounds His people From this time forth and forever.
3For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.3For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest upon the land of the righteous, So that the righteous will not put forth their hands to do wrong.
4Do good, O LORD, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.4Do good, O LORD, to those who are good And to those who are upright in their hearts.
5As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.5But as for those who turn aside to their crooked ways, The LORD will lead them away with the doers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel.
