Psalm 54
KJV Parallel ISV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
King James BibleInternational Standard Version
1To the chief Musician on Neginoth, Maschil, A Psalm of David, when the Ziphims came and said to Saul, Doth not David hide himself with us? Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.1God, by your name deliver me, and by your power vindicate me.
2Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.2God, listen to my prayer, and pay attention to the words of my mouth.
3For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.3For the arrogant have arisen against me; oppressors have sought to take my life. They do not keep God in mind! Interlude
4Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.4Look, God is my helper; the Lord is with those who are guarding my life.
5He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.5He will turn the evil upon those who lie in wait for me. Cut them off with your truth.
6I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good.6With a free will offering I will sacrifice to you; I will give thanks to your name, LORD, because it is good,
7For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.7for he has delivered me from every trouble, and my eyes have seen the end of my enemies.
