Psalm 103
King James BibleNew American Standard Bible 1995
A Psalm of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.1A Psalm of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul, And all that is within me, bless His holy name.
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:2Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget none of His benefits;
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;3Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases;
Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;4Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion;
Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.5Who satisfies your years with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle.
The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.6The LORD performs righteous deeds And judgments for all who are oppressed.
He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.7He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the sons of Israel.
The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.8The LORD is compassionate and gracious, Slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness.
He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.9He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever.
He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.10He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.11For as high as the heavens are above the earth, So great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear Him.
As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.12As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.13Just as a father has compassion on his children, So the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him.
For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.14For He Himself knows our frame; He is mindful that we are but dust.
As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.15As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.16When the wind has passed over it, it is no more, And its place acknowledges it no longer.
But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;17But the lovingkindness of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children's children,
To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.18To those who keep His covenant And remember His precepts to do them.
The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.19The LORD has established His throne in the heavens, And His sovereignty rules over all.
Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.20Bless the LORD, you His angels, Mighty in strength, who perform His word, Obeying the voice of His word!
Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.21Bless the LORD, all you His hosts, You who serve Him, doing His will.
Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.22Bless the LORD, all you works of His, In all places of His dominion; Bless the LORD, O my soul!
