KJV Parallel NASB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
King James BibleNew American Standard Bible 1995
1A Song of degrees. In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.1A Song of Ascents. In my trouble I cried to the LORD, And He answered me.
2Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.2Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, From a deceitful tongue.
3What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue?3What shall be given to you, and what more shall be done to you, You deceitful tongue?
4Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.4Sharp arrows of the warrior, With the burning coals of the broom tree.
5Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!5Woe is me, for I sojourn in Meshech, For I dwell among the tents of Kedar!
6My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.6Too long has my soul had its dwelling With those who hate peace.
7I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.7I am for peace, but when I speak, They are for war.
