| 1In You, O LORD, I have taken refuge; Let me never be ashamed. | 1In you, O LORD, do I take refuge; let me never be put to shame! |
| 2In Your righteousness deliver me and rescue me; Incline Your ear to me and save me. | 2In your righteousness deliver me and rescue me; incline your ear to me, and save me! |
| 3Be to me a rock of habitation to which I may continually come; You have given commandment to save me, For You are my rock and my fortress. | 3Be to me a rock of refuge, to which I may continually come; you have given the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress. |
| 4Rescue me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, Out of the grasp of the wrongdoer and ruthless man, | 4Rescue me, O my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the grasp of the unjust and cruel man. |

| 18And even when I am old and gray, O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to all who are to come. | 18So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation, your power to all those to come. |
| 19For Your righteousness, O God, reaches to the heavens, You who have done great things; O God, who is like You? | 19Your righteousness, O God, reaches the high heavens. You who have done great things, O God, who is like you? |
| 20You who have shown me many troubles and distresses Will revive me again, And will bring me up again from the depths of the earth. | 20You who have made me see many troubles and calamities will revive me again; from the depths of the earth you will bring me up again. |
| 21May You increase my greatness And turn to comfort me. | 21You will increase my greatness and comfort me again. |
| 22I will also praise You with a harp, Even Your truth, O my God; To You I will sing praises with the lyre, O Holy One of Israel. | 22I will also praise you with the harp for your faithfulness, O my God; I will sing praises to you with the lyre, O Holy One of Israel. |
