NASB Parallel KJV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995King James Bible
A Psalm, a Song for the Sabbath day. It is good to give thanks to the LORD And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High;1A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day. It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:
To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning And Your faithfulness by night,2To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,
With the ten-stringed lute and with the harp, With resounding music upon the lyre.3Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.
For You, O LORD, have made me glad by what You have done, I will sing for joy at the works of Your hands.4For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
How great are Your works, O LORD! Your thoughts are very deep.5O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.
A senseless man has no knowledge, Nor does a stupid man understand this:6A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.
That when the wicked sprouted up like grass And all who did iniquity flourished, It was only that they might be destroyed forevermore.7When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:
But You, O LORD, are on high forever.8But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.
For, behold, Your enemies, O LORD, For, behold, Your enemies will perish; All who do iniquity will be scattered.9For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
But You have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil.10But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.
And my eye has looked exultantly upon my foes, My ears hear of the evildoers who rise up against me.11Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.
The righteous man will flourish like the palm tree, He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.12The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
Planted in the house of the LORD, They will flourish in the courts of our God.13Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.
They will still yield fruit in old age; They shall be full of sap and very green,14They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;
To declare that the LORD is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.15To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
