Psalm 92
NASB Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995New Living Translation
A Psalm, a Song for the Sabbath day. It is good to give thanks to the LORD And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High;1It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to the Most High.
To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning And Your faithfulness by night,2It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening,
With the ten-stringed lute and with the harp, With resounding music upon the lyre.3accompanied by a ten-stringed instrument, a harp, and the melody of a lyre.
For You, O LORD, have made me glad by what You have done, I will sing for joy at the works of Your hands.4You thrill me, LORD, with all you have done for me! I sing for joy because of what you have done.
How great are Your works, O LORD! Your thoughts are very deep.5O LORD, what great works you do! And how deep are your thoughts.
A senseless man has no knowledge, Nor does a stupid man understand this:6Only a simpleton would not know, and only a fool would not understand this:
That when the wicked sprouted up like grass And all who did iniquity flourished, It was only that they might be destroyed forevermore.7Though the wicked sprout like weeds and evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever.
But You, O LORD, are on high forever.8But you, O LORD, will be exalted forever.
For, behold, Your enemies, O LORD, For, behold, Your enemies will perish; All who do iniquity will be scattered.9Your enemies, LORD, will surely perish; all evildoers will be scattered.
But You have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil.10But you have made me as strong as a wild ox. You have anointed me with the finest oil.
And my eye has looked exultantly upon my foes, My ears hear of the evildoers who rise up against me.11My eyes have seen the downfall of my enemies; my ears have heard the defeat of my wicked opponents.
The righteous man will flourish like the palm tree, He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.12But the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon.
Planted in the house of the LORD, They will flourish in the courts of our God.13For they are transplanted to the LORD’s own house. They flourish in the courts of our God.
They will still yield fruit in old age; They shall be full of sap and very green,14Even in old age they will still produce fruit; they will remain vital and green.
To declare that the LORD is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.15They will declare, “The LORD is just! He is my rock! There is no evil in him!”
