Psalm 113
NASB Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995New Living Translation
1Praise the LORD! Praise, O servants of the LORD, Praise the name of the LORD.1Praise the LORD! Yes, give praise, O servants of the LORD. Praise the name of the LORD!
2Blessed be the name of the LORD From this time forth and forever.2Blessed be the name of the LORD now and forever.
3From the rising of the sun to its setting The name of the LORD is to be praised.3Everywhere—from east to west— praise the name of the LORD.
4The LORD is high above all nations; His glory is above the heavens.4For the LORD is high above the nations; his glory is higher than the heavens.
5Who is like the LORD our God, Who is enthroned on high,5Who can be compared with the LORD our God, who is enthroned on high?
6Who humbles Himself to behold The things that are in heaven and in the earth?6He stoops to look down on heaven and on earth.
7He raises the poor from the dust And lifts the needy from the ash heap,7He lifts the poor from the dust and the needy from the garbage dump.
8To make them sit with princes, With the princes of His people.8He sets them among princes, even the princes of his own people!
9He makes the barren woman abide in the house As a joyful mother of children. Praise the LORD!9He gives the childless woman a family, making her a happy mother. Praise the LORD!
