Psalm 121
NASB Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995New Living Translation
1A Song of Ascents. I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come?1I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there?
2My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.2My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth!
3He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber.3He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber.
4Behold, He who keeps Israel Will neither slumber nor sleep.4Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps.
5The LORD is your keeper; The LORD is your shade on your right hand.5The LORD himself watches over you! The LORD stands beside you as your protective shade.
6The sun will not smite you by day, Nor the moon by night.6The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night.
7The LORD will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul.7The LORD keeps you from all harm and watches over your life.
8The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in From this time forth and forever.8The LORD keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.
