Psalm 138
NET Parallel ISV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
NET BibleInternational Standard Version
1By David. I will give you thanks with all my heart; before the heavenly assembly I will sing praises to you. 1LORD, I thank you with all of my heart; because you heard the words that I spoke, I will sing your praise before the heavenly beings.
2I will bow down toward your holy temple, and give thanks to your name, because of your loyal love and faithfulness, for you have exalted your promise above the entire sky. 2I will bow down in worship toward your holy Temple and give thanks to your name for your gracious love and truth, for you have done great things to carry out your word consistent with your name.
3When I cried out for help, you answered me. You made me bold and energized me. 3When I called out, you answered me; you strengthened me.
4Let all the kings of the earth give thanks to you, O LORD, when they hear the words you speak. 4LORD, all the kings of the earth will give you thanks, for they have heard what you have spoken.
5Let them sing about the LORD's deeds, for the LORD's splendor is magnificent. 5They will sing about the ways of the LORD, for great is the glory of the LORD!
6Though the LORD is exalted, he takes note of the lowly, and recognizes the proud from far away. 6Though the LORD is highly exalted, yet he pays attention to those who are lowly regarded, but he is aware of the arrogant from afar.
7Even when I must walk in the midst of danger, you revive me. You oppose my angry enemies, and your right hand delivers me. 7Though I walk straight into trouble, you preserve my life, stretching out your hand to fight the vehemence of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me.
8The LORD avenges me. O LORD, your loyal love endures. Do not abandon those whom you have made! 8The LORD will complete what his purpose is for me. LORD, your gracious love is eternal; do not abandon your personal work in me.
