Psalm 13
NIV Parallel CSB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New International VersionChristian Standard Bible
1For the director of music. A psalm of David. How long, LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?1How long, LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
2How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me?2How long will I store up anxious concerns within me, agony in my mind every day? How long will my enemy dominate me?
3Look on me and answer, LORD my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death,3Consider me and answer, LORD my God. Restore brightness to my eyes; otherwise, I will sleep in death.
4and my enemy will say, "I have overcome him," and my foes will rejoice when I fall.4My enemy will say, "I have triumphed over him," and my foes will rejoice because I am shaken.
5But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.5But I have trusted in your faithful love; my heart will rejoice in your deliverance.
6I will sing the LORD's praise, for he has been good to me.6I will sing to the LORD because he has treated me generously.
