| 1Of David. A maskil. Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. | 1How joyful is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered! |
| 2Blessed is the one whose sin the LORD does not count against them and in whose spirit is no deceit. | 2How joyful is a person whom the LORD does not charge with iniquity and in whose spirit is no deceit! |
