Psalm 92
NIV Parallel CSB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New International VersionChristian Standard Bible
A psalm. A song. For the Sabbath day. It is good to praise the LORD and make music to your name, O Most High,1It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praise to your name, Most High,
proclaiming your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night,2to declare your faithful love in the morning and your faithfulness at night,
to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp.3with a ten-stringed harp and the music of a lyre.
For you make me glad by your deeds, LORD; I sing for joy at what your hands have done.4For you have made me rejoice, LORD, by what you have done; I will shout for joy because of the works of your hands.
How great are your works, LORD, how profound your thoughts!5How magnificent are your works, LORD, how profound your thoughts!
Senseless people do not know, fools do not understand,6A stupid person does not know, a fool does not understand this:
that though the wicked spring up like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever.7though the wicked sprout like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be eternally destroyed.
But you, LORD, are forever exalted.8But you, LORD, are exalted forever.
For surely your enemies, LORD, surely your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered.9For indeed, LORD, your enemies--indeed, your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered.
You have exalted my horn like that of a wild ox; fine oils have been poured on me.10You have lifted up my horn like that of a wild ox; I have been anointed with the finest oil.
My eyes have seen the defeat of my adversaries; my ears have heard the rout of my wicked foes.11My eyes look at my enemies; when evildoers rise against me, my ears hear them.
The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;12The righteous thrive like a palm tree and grow like a cedar tree in Lebanon.
planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God.13Planted in the house of the LORD, they thrive in the courts of our God.
They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green,14They will still bear fruit in old age, healthy and green,
proclaiming, "The LORD is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him."15to declare: "The LORD is just; he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him."
