Psalm 108
NIV Parallel KJV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New International VersionKing James Bible
A song. A psalm of David. My heart, O God, is steadfast; I will sing and make music with all my soul.1A Song or Psalm of David. O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.
Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn.2Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
I will praise you, LORD, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples.3I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.
For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.4For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth.5Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;
Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered.6That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.
God has spoken from his sanctuary: "In triumph I will parcel out Shechem and measure off the Valley of Sukkoth.7God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah is my scepter.8Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;
Moab is my washbasin, on Edom I toss my sandal; over Philistia I shout in triumph."9Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.
Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?10Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?
Is it not you, God, you who have rejected us and no longer go out with our armies?11Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?
Give us aid against the enemy, for human help is worthless.12Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.13Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
