Psalm 108
NIV Parallel NET [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New International VersionNET Bible
A song. A psalm of David. My heart, O God, is steadfast; I will sing and make music with all my soul.1A song, a psalm of David. I am determined, O God! I will sing and praise you with my whole heart.
Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn.2Awake, O stringed instrument and harp! I will wake up at dawn!
I will praise you, LORD, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples.3I will give you thanks before the nations, O LORD! I will sing praises to you before foreigners!
For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.4For your loyal love extends beyond the sky, and your faithfulness reaches the clouds.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth.5Rise up above the sky, O God! May your splendor cover the whole earth!
Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered.6Deliver by your power and answer me, so that the ones you love may be safe.
God has spoken from his sanctuary: "In triumph I will parcel out Shechem and measure off the Valley of Sukkoth.7God has spoken in his sanctuary: "I will triumph! I will parcel out Shechem, the valley of Succoth I will measure off.
Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah is my scepter.8Gilead belongs to me, as does Manasseh! Ephraim is my helmet, Judah my royal scepter.
Moab is my washbasin, on Edom I toss my sandal; over Philistia I shout in triumph."9Moab is my wash basin. I will make Edom serve me. I will shout in triumph over Philistia."
Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?10Who will lead me into the fortified city? Who will bring me to Edom?
Is it not you, God, you who have rejected us and no longer go out with our armies?11Have you not rejected us, O God? O God, you do not go into battle with our armies.
Give us aid against the enemy, for human help is worthless.12Give us help against the enemy, for any help men might offer is futile.
With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.13By God's power we will conquer; he will trample down our enemies.
